Mackenzie Camus did the opposing team no favors on Saturday, picking up four hits over five at bats and leading Timberline Blazers Varsity to a 23-9 win over North Thurston. Camus doubled in the first, doubled in the first, doubled in the second, and doubled in the fifth.

Timberline Blazers Varsity earned the victory despite allowing North Thurston to score five runs in the fifth inning. N RobinsonAbkeweierM Kioshi, and E Spencer powered the big inning with RBIs.

Timberline Blazers Varsity got things started in the first inning when Kylie Baker singled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run.

Jasmyn Polanco was the winning pitcher for Timberline Blazers Varsity. The righthander went three innings, allowing three runs on three hits and striking out four. Avaleis Wilson threw one and two-thirds innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Timberline Blazers Varsity tallied 16 hits on the day. CamusBakerKatryna TullerWilson, and Polanco all managed multiple hits for Timberline Blazers VarsityCamus led Timberline Blazers Varsity with four hits in five at bats. Wilson led Timberline Blazers Varsity with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with nine stolen bases.

North Thurston had eight hits in the game. Robinson and Spencer all collected multiple hits for North Thurston.
